Element Skateboards
Originally started in 1992 as Underworld Element skateboards, Element Skateboards as we know it today came to life when Johnny Schilleriff took full control of the company. He dropped the Underworld from the name and set about shaping the company to his own set of ideals. Element clothing and skateboards quickly became widely respected within the extreme sports scenes thanks to their ethical standpoint and awesome designs. As Element has grown so has its list of pros they sponsor taking in some of the best in the business. The list includes the likes of Pharrell Williams, Bucky Lasek, Bam Margera, Chad Muska, Chad Tim Tim and Vanessa Torres. The Element logo features a tree within a circle, which is said to represent being one with a wooden skateboard and the four elements of earth, wind, fire and water. The four elements often feature heavily in the designs and this shows Elements commitment to eco-friendly endeavours and raising awareness to environmental causes.
Element Skate Shoes
Element skate shoes cater to both old school and new fans as they have stuck to producing the same high quality footwear. That's why this season you can see the regular hi top, mid top and low cut skate shoes but with a mix of loud neon designs as well as earthy browns and blacks. Some of the best kicks currently available include the MV 2.0, Omahigh, Billings and Griggs models.
Element Clothing
Element clothing sticks to the usual traditions of skatewear with a mix of checked shirts, hoodies, jeans and t shirts, all perfect for skating or chilling at the beach. Element t shirts and hoodies usually feature a design based around the Element logo but the brand does sometimes run wild with some of their more complex designs.
